FAQs
What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa (sometimes called Vinyasa Flow) is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that synchronizes breath with movement. It offers a graceful and continuous sequence of asanas (poses) that not only build strength and flexibility but also foster a profound sense of presence and connection. My classes are thoughtfully designed to help you find your flow, both on and off the mat.
What can I expect from your classes?
-
Mindful Practice: Each class is a mindful exploration of your body, breath, and spirit. We will focus on being fully present in the moment, leaving behind the stresses of daily life.
-
Holistic Approach: I believe in the power of yoga to heal not only the physical body but also the mind and soul. Our practice will encompass holistic well-being, addressing your physical, mental, and spiritual needs. In each class we'll use a combination of movement, pranayama (breath control), and meditation to elevate your practice, stimulate our energy centres (chakras) and unlock your inner potential.
-
Yoga Philosophy: We will explore the rich traditions of yoga philosophy, exploring how ancient wisdom can enhance our modern lives and help us navigate the challenges we face.
